Overview
Samuel Ouma graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 1990 and was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1991.
Career Highlights
- Developed skills in child and family law, probate and administration.
- Has undertaken pro-bono legal work on behalf of helpless children in Kwale, Kilifi, Mwingi and Tana River Districts and is a personnel resource with children and family rights organizations in Africa.
- Has wide experience in litigation arising from enforcement of security documentation, banking and property transactions, realization of securities, set offs, debt collection and consolidation of interests.
- Is a Commissioner for Oaths, a Notary Public and Certified Public
Secretary and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. - Served as a Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Law Society of Kenya – 2006-2009.
- Served as a Chairman, Loreto School PTA 2005/7 and Treasurer
2008/2009. - Served as a Vice President, Rotary Club of Mombasa 2006/7.
- Served as a member of the Board of Governors Tudor Day Secondary
School, St. Lwanga Secondary School and Chairman Board of Governors Maweni Mixed Secondary School. - Served as member of the Executive Committee Mombasa Sports
Club 2008/2009, 2010/2011 was co-convenor of membership
committee and Chairman in 2016-2017. - Served on the PCC of St. Peters ACK Nyali Parish and member of the Management Committee of Mission To Seamen.
Mr. Ouma is the Head of Litigation, Criminal and Probate Division and oversees Financial Management of the Firm.
