Wanyonyi Chebukati graduated from the University of Nairobi in 1985 with a Bachelor
of Laws (LL.B.) degree and was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1986. Career
Highlights include:

• Practice of law as a sole practitioner and expansive experience in civil litigation, criminal jurisprudence and labour.
• Has specialized legal practice in the fields of international commerce, trade and investment law, Corporate law and governance, product liability litigation and environmental law.
• Has served as council member of the Law Society of Kenya, a Captain and Chairman of both Mombasa and Nyali Golf Clubs, and a committee member of the Kenya Golf Union.

Born in 1961, Mr Wanyonyi was immediately before the merger the sole Proprietor of
Wanyonyi & Company Advocates. He is the Head of Environmental, Commercial and
Labour Law Divisions.
